We had some crappy weather during the New Years, which means that now that it's gotten colder again, there's a layer of really hard snow in the forest. Though not enough to always carry my weight so getting there is very energy consuming. It was light, slightly snowy and -10°C = perfect winter weather. I didn't even have to edit the photos (except for slight contrast tweaks).

Unfortunately the photo itself is just Tanith standing and looking slightly bewildered. But well, that all she ever does, so it's fine. I actually got her to hold the scythe up for a while and I'm debating whether to post that too. It's a miracle since she's not a very stable stander and that scythe weights a ton (for her arms anyway). Interestingly, her wearing the generally unstable paws on top of snow is the stablest she gets. She has no hope of standing outside unaided in her human feet -or in the paws during summer.
