Dark Siren by yenna-photo Dark Siren by yenna-photo
I always have such great timing with my water shoots. Last time I had just sueded Tanith, and this time I'd just re-coated, re-blushed and re-sueded Seere's body, when I decided I needed a proper siren again. Well, I wanna re-blush the hands+arms to match my lovely dark siren but I couldn't wait to take at least a few photos. Too bad they didn't come out at all how I wanted them to. The weather was really against me. It was supposed to be cloudy and rainy but nope, all the clouds strategically moved around the damn sun and the wind was horrible. I had the doll on a stand so I didn't have to worry about her falling, but me? The waves were so damn strong it was really hard to stay upright and not shake the camera. Also the sun really does not compliment her at all. She's all dark but pale and would really work with gloomy weather much better.

I got so fed up with the sun that I settled with the photos and went for backlight instead. Onyx has such a gorgeous profile so who can blame me. =u= Also, ofc when I got back it got cloudy and rainy. 8) But I'm not about to go back there today.  I also had this waterproof camera bag with me and I was planning on taking a low angle shot for Resin-Aperture's this months challenge, but the waves were too strong. I'm gonna try that shot again sometime later in the month I guess but not sure if I'll make it for the challenge. I'll drag fuyuhime with me and people can call us crazy (again) for 'swimming' when it's already way cold.

Oh, and the joys of a public beach. I had two men come by, take a swim and ask me what I was doing. The second one was really amusing. He came on a bike, stopped to look at me crouching in the lake with a huge doll, then he looked at my stuff on the beach, looking really confused, and:
Man: What are you doing?
Me: Photographing.
Man: Ohh!! It's an art-project! I was wondering what on Earth you were doing.
Man: Be careful not to get your camera wet.

Yes, an accurate assumption: art-project. :'D I'll post some more shots to my blog soon, where you'll be able to see her face a bit better too.

Jep, ja vedessä kuvaaminen on vähintäänkin jännittävää. xD Pistin just loput kuvat tuonne blogiin viimein kun en aiemmin ehtinyt.
